Delegating Zoom Calendar Permissions
Delegating Zoom calendar access to another user allows the assigned user to book zoom meeting on your behalf. This can be used alongside the Zoom Plugin for Outlook and a delegated Outlook calendar. With all of those components setup the assigned user can utilize Outlook to open your calendar and quickly create a Zoom meeting where you are set as the host and have it appear in your Outlook calendar.
This document will outline the steps to enable a user access to book zoom meetings on your behalf.

Step 1: To grant an assigned user access to your Zoom calendar requires you to modify a setting. You need to follow this link My Profile - Zoom and login using your UWO account. Once Logged in you will see a column on the left. Select the settings option then select other in the list that opens. Towards the bottom of your screen you will see the “Schedule Privilege” setting. Click the blue Add button.
Step 2: You will then enter the assigned user’s email address into the text box and click the blue save button. This will then grant the assigned user access to schedule meetings on your behalf. When the assigned user makes a Zoom meeting, they can specify you as the host and automatically place it your Zoom calendar.
Step 3: This step needs be done by the assigned user. The assigned user should then be able to set up a Zoom meeting and set you as the host. When they make the Zoom meeting it will appear in your Zoom calendar. The assigned user will login to the Zoom client will have to click "schedule meeting". The assigned user should see a drop-down menu that says "Schedule For". This is where the assigned user will specify that the meeting is set up for you.
EX: In this example Anthony Moon delegated access to Matthew Mitchell. Matthew Mitchell should be able to create Zoom meetings on behalf of Anthony Moon.
Step 4: To utilize an Outlook calendar to create a Zoom meeting requires the use of the Zoom Plug in for Outlook. Please go to this link to install it Download Center for Zoom Apps and Plugins | Zoom. With this method when the assigned user creates the meeting it will appear in your Outlook calendar. To use this method, it is required that you delegate Outlook calendar access to the assigned user. Please see the “Delegating Outlook Calendar Permissions” document.
